Admin send message to all is slow

Sending messages to everyone is really slow, probably due to instantiating so many Message objects. Maybe it can be done asynchronously?

OK, I've decided this feature basically sucks and I'm ripping it out. It's just not worth the trouble. We'll probably replace it with site-wide announcements once we merge in Bill Lazar's changes.
